We were so excited for a rare weekend away only to arrive to our room that didn’t have working air conditioning or fans, in December, on ground floor blocked by other buildings so no lovely sea breeze to help. The after hours number went to voicemail but the inbox was full so I couldn’t leave a message but luckily a text was replied to and a Rusty pedestal fan was delivered within half an hour. There was no mention of a partial refund or even an apology. Emails were ignored, texts were ignored so here I am writing a negative review 😡 I also had to kill 2 large cockroaches and endless baby cockroaches crawling out from under the laundry sink.

I have booked our holiday recently to stay at this hotel, due to Queensland COVID LOCK DOWN and BORDER CLOSURE. The hotel was notified by our travel consultant that we could not get there due to the anouncement of the lockdown so the hotel owner was asked whether he would give us a refund due to this. SO THE OWNER REFUSED TO GIVE BACK MY MONEY even though there was no other way of getting there. VERY DISGUSTED BY MANAGEMENT IF THIS IS THERE WAY OF MAKING MONEY from hard working people. Would have been happy with half refund or a credit but that was also denied. There will be no chance in hell or beyond that we will be considering this place in future. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE people...........
