The check‑in experience was positive, with friendly staff and a quiet street location. The private courtyard, washing machine, and kitchen were convenient features that added to the stay. However, there were several areas that could be improved. The bedrooms were fitted only with blinds, and light from the neighbouring caravan sales yard shone through throughout the night, making it difficult to block out. The second bedroom was sparsely furnished, containing only two single beds. The bathroom was dated, though the water pressure was good. Overall, the property would benefit from some general maintenance and attention. For example, the stairway light had no cover, leaving exposed wiring, and a simple item like a broom would have been useful. The garage was particularly challenging. It is extremely narrow, with very little room to manoeuvre when reversing in or out, especially with other units nearby. Despite driving a Toyota Corolla, we struggled with clearance, and passengers on the non‑driver side had to exit before parking due to the limited space. The garage also had numerous pre‑existing scratches, dents, and paint marks. During the day, we opted to park on the street instead. Would I stay again? Only if necessary. The property has potential but needs some care and attention to reach a more comfortable standard

We could not fault this place. It was great value for Bundy, had everything we needed for a family of four, was clean and well-equipped, quiet, and had secure parking for the car. Very convenient!

This is a basic, budget property as reflected in the price. However we were surprised at the standard of cleaning which was very poor. Kitchen counter had food scraps, dust everywhere, walls badly scuffed and generally grotty. The outdoor area was grim and dirty and looked like a prison. Light in bathroom had no shade and exposed fittings. No bedside table or lamps in the second bedroom. Very basic linen and very thin towels. Shampoo had already been used. What was really awful though was that cleaning staff knocked on our door and then barged in (it was open a crack) at 9.30am saying they were ready to clean the room and when were we leaving. Checkout is 10am. We pay for the room until that time. Such an invasion of privacy and incredibly rude. Knock on the door after 10am if you must, but not before. I had previously stayed at this place about 12 years ago and it was nice. I don’t think much has been done to it since then. It’s very run down and grubby now.
