Location, Location. Close to the beach, bus stop just outside. No need to hire a car. Free shuttle to/from the airport. Close to lots of food venues. Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff. Saw heaps of whales from our balcony. Absolutely loved it. Look forward to staying there again.

The price is satisfactory. It's outside the Gold Coast, but the ocean is beautiful everywhere, so it can be uncomfortable depending on the purpose of your trip. Free parking is also good, and there's a 10 minute walk away.

The rudest most sour woman on reception. Would be in my top 5 rudest experiences I’ve ever had! My husband and I found it amusing she was that unpleasant. Older lady - shortish darkish hair. She really let the side down as a really great stay - awesome location just a shocker check-in!
