Firstly let me say my husband and I are not complainers but our experience at Ocean Plaza cannot go by without comment. Last year we went to Ocean Plaza to enquire about staying there in 2026. we were shown a neat, not refurbished but certainly well maintained. Imagine our disappointment when we were booked into apartment 58 which was of very poor standard. To start with it was dirty: dust piled up on the edges of the carpet. Door runners caked with dirt, shower recess mouldy, cracked grouting, rusty door frames toilet roll holder hanging off taps broken. The kitchen cupboards were peeling, the dining room chairs were all collaped in the middle, the lounge was sinking and not clean. On day 2, I went down to reception and told them this. She said she would send a cleaner up. When the cleaner came she made no attempt to engage regarding the issues but scooted past me, changed the sheets on our bed (which I thought was very odd) , and wiped over the bathroom basin and floor. Days later I wrote to the manager stating our concerns. He wrote back saying that the apartments were all privately owned and there was nothing the could do about it. I said I thought we had been deceived astheyhad shown us a pleasant unit andwehad been given one of this terrible standard. They did nothing. So fellow travellers - be warned that at Ocean Plaza the cleaning is of a very poor standard and what you see is not necessarily what you will get and they don't care. I have attached a few photo which show a little of the treat you are in for at Ocean Plaza

Amazing location, with beach across the road and shopping centre underneath hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. Great value for money. Have stayed many times over the years and will continue to book this place!

I have been to Ocean Plaza Resort annually with my family. The location is 10/10 close to a range of different resturants. The Beach is just over the roads and close to parks. The rooms are value for money, very roomy and clean. There is a bbq and nice pool area and spa. I look forward to returning again in a few months.
