Good little spot in a handy location. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the stay easy from check-in to check-out. The motel is close to shops, food places and everything we needed around Tweed Heads. The room was good for what we needed — clean, comfortable and fine for a short stay. It’s an older-style motel, so don’t expect anything too fancy, but it did the job well. Overall, happy with the stay. Great location, great staff and good value for a simple stopover.

This hotel is disgusting. Not even worth 1 star Do not go. Fire hazard, broken doors, filthy pool. The lights started flickering at 230am and only way to stop them was turning them on all night. Hole/gap under the door had to shoulder charge to shut and open could let a snake or even large animal in. Bed had a sheet on it that's it, find and make yourself. Manager wouldn't get out of bed when reported until office hours, even though reported after 3 ph calls it could be fire hazard. When asked for money back...apparently nothing wrong with anything, even though I have video proof especially of lights....unless you want to sleep like your at a disco or alternatively sleep with lights in your eyes, and that's after not touching balcony door, because you could cut your hand with no handle and sharp bits, Avoid!

I have had the most excellent stay for 1 week at the Tweed Central motel. A most pleasant experience, and Mohammed, the manager, was most helpful and kind. I shall always remember my stay here, and shall recommend this motel to my friends. A. Oppel. London UK
