Stayed in room 36 for a week. Air con was not functioning well. Air con Would only work for around 45 minutes at a time before having to restart it by manually tripping the circuit breakers when it stopped. It was looked at by a maintenance man and an electrician during our stay, but, no air con in a hotel room in Central Queensland does not make for a comfortable experience. No offer to switch to another room for comfort. Only one Inverter for 3 air con head units in the apartment.

Very disappointing for the price. The queen beds were very old, too firm, noisy and not comfortable. The additional rollout bed did not come with any top bedding - only a sheet and as the front counter appears to only open from 9am to 2pm daily, we could not recieve any type of service at all. The apartment was very obviously lacking any real maintenance:- All split system air conditioners air filters were so dirty they didn't work properly. The shower glass and framing was very mouldy and corroded. The mixer taps were loose and bent. The shower nozzles were broken with lots of water just dribbling out. The toilet flush button and brush were corroded. Almost all exterior lights at the entrance to the apartments were faulty making it difficult to find the lock box during the after-hours check in.

One of the most dirty and dilapidated places I have ever had the displeasure of staying. Started with my arrival at 2:30pm, couldn't get in the door as there was nobody at reception. Had to phone the number on the outside sign (at my own expense) a few times before anyone bothered to answer. I was then directed to a keybox. Apparently I should have got an email to explain this but I didn't and neither did the other 2 groups I saw over the afternoon with the same issue. When I got to the room everything was horrible as you can see by the photos. Carpet was dirty, drawers were filthy and the couch looked like it had been taken from the dump, I can only imagine how many germs were growing on it. Then tried to turn the TV on which didn't work. Checked the remote batteries, obviously hadn't worked for ages as you can see from the photos. Still nobody at reception to advise of this issue or of the lack of cleanliness of the room. Nobody at reception on check out either and no directions on where to leave the key. Once again had to make numerous calls before anyone answered. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere
