Hilton Cairns Hotel

The location is good. Esplanade board walk is just in front and a short walk to eating places. Place is old but clean. Staff were helpful especially Liz who is always helpful and friendly. Great asset to the hotel. Our room for 3 pax was spacious.

First impressions of the old fashioned, flashing signs were squashed as soon as we entered the building. Staff superb, especially Liv. Room spacious and very clean with a balcony and small sea view. Air Conditioning worked well. Bed very comfortable. Pool open till 9pm - would be great to have more lighting for the dark evenings. Very clean pool. Felt very comfortable there and it is only a very short distance from the promenade with lots of places to eat and drink. 20 minutes walk to the marina for trips to the barrier reef. If you believe in keeping your money local, privately owned, like we do, this is the place for you. Book direct!

We recently spent 8 nights at the Cairns Plaza and we would happily give it a score of 5 out of 5. We found our room, which was on the 6th floor facing the ocean to be excellent. We liked the balcony, the kitchenette, the resort pool, and especially the location -close to restaurants, the esplanade pools and opposite Muddy's. The staff were always friendly and helpful (an extra shout out to Liv). We look forward to staying there again next time we are in Cairns.
