It’s not new but it’s clean and comfortable. It’s well located and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They were also helpful in pointing out the local restaurants etc. in fact you can walk from the motel into the adjacent Chinese restaurant, which we did.

Comfortable budget room. Has everything you need including cutlery, bowls and microwave if,like me,you are happy just to get takeaway. Very good Chinese restaurant next door, but also within walking distance to many restaurants. Walking distance to Mackay entertainment centre if you are going to see a show. Hosts always greet me with a smile and are up for a chat. Sometimes, as with any motel, people are inconsiderate and talk outside late at night or early morning. I am pleased to note if anyone gets too out of control management are “right on to it” which in my opinion is great. Always feel safe staying here. All in all a good comfortable budget stay that I will keep returning to.

Forget this motel. I stay in motels 3 nights a week and never had such a rude experience in 20 years on the road. Yes there may have been a mix up with the booking but if you had of given me a chance to talk I would have given you a card over the phone. Plenty of other places to stay that are far more helpful.
