On our trip to Australia, we stopped at Magnetic Island for 4 days and stayed at the Island Leisure Resort.
The operators were extremely helpful even before our arrival and supported us with all our questions. This impression was then confirmed when we got there.
The accommodations were absolutely clean and adequate for our purposes. It has a really nice pool and a kind of common room where you can play table tennis, billiards etc. The tennis court is also absolutely sufficient to hit a few balls.
Also, we made highlight that the accommodation is child friendly and the audience was very mixed.
In addition, sufficient washing machines and dryers are offered, so that you can also take advantage of the opportunity to do your laundry. The individual “huts” consist of one room, the bathroom is separated only by upwardly open walls. Kitchenette is well equipped, we just lacked one way to make coffee - we just don't like instant coffee. But we were able to get a French Press quickly. We are absolutely not fans of beetles, spiders and other animals, but this can hardly be avoided in the tropics. Here we had absolutely no problems, during the whole stay no unpleasant encounter at all. We would definitely book here again if we were on Magnetic Island again.

We loved the architecture of Buree number 2. Clean, modern, with a dishwasher (always a bonus!). Loved our little patio, where we ate breakfast every morning. Beautifully landscaped. Rachel and Jenny were absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Eat at Saltwater next door to Foodworks. Delish!

This place is a gem. I was hoping for something simple, clean, affordable, well located and pleasant and it ticked every box. We were treated to a warm and friendly reception, everything is well maintained and lovely. We loved the pool. We loved the handy location, the peace and quiet, everything really…
