Montana Palms Holiday Apartments

Great Location. With the tram station 100m up road getting around surfers will be a breeze when it opens. Room had everything we needed and was in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful with local coffee shops and food. 100% recommend for families

Unit 10 is well set out and comfortable, I have stayed in it before and like it. However, I found the service this visit inconsistent and not as friendly and willing to assist as previously. The office was frequently closed, the pool seemed not to have the daily checking for leaves etc blown in over night, the stairwell was dirty and the linen changes whilst well done had to be initiated by me, likewise any changes to this routine. No shampoo/conditioner as advertised but nice handwash available. Garden maintenance is of course a necessary activity but honestly after days of chainsaw noise I was well over it, especially as one day was a Saturday. It was not a welcoming atmosphere for a guest.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Montana Palms, this time in apartment 23. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen had been updated which was lovely. The fridge seemed like it is on it's way out as it wasn't very cold even on the coldest setting. Loved that there were 2 x 3 seater couches. We love Montana as it is in a perfect location, close to everything and easily accessible. My only criticism, which is not the properties fault, is the nightworks that occurred on 2 nights on the new tram line. Can't wait for it to be done! Would highly recommend Montana, yes it is dated and not super fancy, but the apartments are clean and comfortable, has everything you need and the manager is very friendly and accommodating.
