Maison Noosa

Amazing experience for families, not a better location in Noosa. Beach a sneeze away and the main street is your front yard. It still feels secluded though and special enough for a couple retreat. We personally stay in the 2 bedder 103 downstairs, 10 metres from the pool area great for 4 people.Wifi great if you need it. Feels safe and always clean- we stay every year and meet lovely people every time we go:) Rotate between beach- pool- street repeat!

Stayed in ‘1 bedroom resort view’. The good: location - easy walk to the beach, great cafes/restaurants next door/across the street. The bed wasn’t terrible - not too firm/not slouching too much in the middle but the pillows were a bit flat. Bedding seemed clean. You get pool towels from the hotel, didn’t get to use the pool though because there were so many kids staying there at the time. Outdoor patio was nice, with a gate you could use, go straight to pool or beach. The bad: only one aircon unit located in the main lounge/kitchen area so nothing to cool down bedroom. Only ceiling fan that could only do the lightest setting. So it was a struggle to sleep at night, had to keep the aircon on all day and night super high/cold so the night was bearable. All decor in rooms were coated in thick layer of dust (lamps, fake plants etc) it was gross sleeping next to a dust coated wicker bedside lamp. Walls all looked run down with the white paint chipped off revealing old red paint, scuff marks on every wall. Quite worn down room in general. Had an awful smell of cleaning chemicals the whole stay.. even tho the cleaning staff DONT clean your rooms during the stay and the guests are responsible for cleaning all your dishes used and emptying the bins at the end of your stay.. Bathrooms weren’t great either, the water pressure for showers was good but mould all around/in the grout. Had to have the window open the whole time due to fogging from shower (window type that has no fly screen/wind dial to open) which was above the shower and also on the wall of the main outdoor walk way so didn’t feel private to shower constantly mindful of other guests talking as walk by/could stick their head in if talk enough. Also found a cockroach in the bathroom on the last day of my stay, ran away into the drain. Told staff when checking out that morning. Super disappointing way to end the stay but not at all surprised given the state of the rooms. Staff didn’t make any apology or offer of lower price just seemed caught off guard and checked me out as normal.. There was also massive gaps under and around the doors even the main front door. Also no safety latch for front door which I don’t feel safe with when hotels have the card key situation and no deadbolt/safety latch. Main doors could only be closed by being slammed otherwise wouldn’t latch/close/lock at all. So that’s all you hear throughout night/day - loudly slamming doors. Hope you’re not a light sleeper. The couch in the main room was filthy. Stains all over it I imagine from food but who knows. Definitely didn’t feel safe to sit on it at all. I’d also emailed ahead of time about parking (had rental car) they sent back guest have 1 park each no need to book ahead with no other info, so when arriving I had no instruction of how to access carpark and there was NO street parking. Only to realise after my partner got out to check us in that you could press the buzzer of carpark/say booking to get in…this could have been a simple step of decent service to avoid the added stress and better the stay experience to have communicated that ahead of time in email. Definitely not resort vibe as advertised. Wouldn’t stay again. Seemed more like a budget hotel that the owner doesn’t want to put money into.

Fabulous views from some rooms, excellent location. Rooms getting tired, double/queen beds saggy and not partner friendly. Bathrooms need a good anti mould spray. All does bang loudly when closed, so you wake up with a jolt when others leave their rooms. OK value.
