We had a standard queen, room was small but recently renovated with nice appointments. Only 300mtr walk to the stadium. But geeze it was noisey during the night, people load talking in the hallway and doors banging shut.

Disgusting. Not helpful rude unwilling to help wouldnt give money back til police came. Dont bothrr far better places than this run down hell hole

Madison Plaza is perfectly situated right in the city centre of Townsville. I was in town for a match between The North Queensland Cowboys v Melbourne Storm and the walk to North Queeensland Stadium is merely a few steps away. The rooms are spacious and all the comforts of the hotel can be found here. Will stay again next time I am in town.
