Shearwater Resort

We have just stayed at Shearwater for the third time, but it was our first in a one bedroom apartment. Previously we'd stayed in studio apartments and loved those but we just wanted a little more space this time. The one bedroom apartment was perfect for a three night stay and reasonably priced, particularly in comparison to units available in other complexes. It was clean, modern and comfortable with the perfect amount of space for two people. The view was stunning and the hamper was much appreciated - it's such a lovely touch. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Really enjoyable stay. Three nights in apartment 53-1..one bedroom. A compact but perfectly formed unit with a good size balcony with fabulous ocean views. The unit has been refreshed not too long ago, and the furniture and fittings are of a decent quality. Everything was very clean, and up to date. Wi-fi was fine for our needs. Staff were really lovely, always greeting us with a smile..Karin checked us in and explained everything. The hamper in the room was a nice surprise too. Very pleased indeed, particularly at the price we paid..we will be back should we need to stay in Caloundra again.

Stay well clear of this place. Dishonest and deceptive advertising. I booked ocean view room of which when you click on that room you see amazing ocean views and a nice apartment. Confirmed and paid and then received email from them saying they can't guarantee we'll get ocean view apartment and that it may be garden view or pool view. I contacted them to confirm this and they said yes I will have to wait till the day I arrive to see what I'm getting. I've stayed at other Ultiqa apartments and they've been great. It's only this one that does this. Maybe it's an upgrade scam?? Don't know but won't be finding out. Now we've maxed out our credit card and have to wait up to 12 days for refund. Very poor
