This is a bit difficult to write as I am truly missing this WONDERFUL motel & the lovely people who run it... the BEST motel in ALL of Queensland as far as we are concerned! We were given a warm welcome at the front desk, given our keys, told that we could park our vehicle below the motel (very good) & also informed that we could borrow anything that was in the lobby... now when I say anything I mean literally anything one could ever need while enjoying your vacation, in a beautiful beach town, in Australia - umbrellas (for the rain & beach), beach chairs, coolers, lap top computers, books, toys for the beach, wagons you name it they had it & ALL was available to those of us lucky people staying here! Our room was on the 2nd floor & it consisted of a king bed which was very comfortable, TV, full sized refrigerator, coffee pot with lots of choices of coffee, a Nespresso Coffee maker with many choices of coffee as well, all kitchen items you could ever need, a wonderful balcony with table & chairs, along with bathroom condiments - it was PERFECT & oh so comfortable. I am so happy that I added an extra night as our original 3 would not have sufficed - we did NOT want to leave!! This motel is at the end of the street in Port Douglas & mere steps from glorious Four Mile Beach. It was the best stay we have had in our month long vacation & our only complaint is we wish we had of had more time.

We've just got from spending 5 days in a superior sea view room. No 16. It's been some years since we'd stayed here. And it's changed ownership since our last visit. But we found the place hasn't changed. The girls r extremely friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a lovely chat most days. The room had a great view of the ocean. Even though the weather was very overcast for the majority of our stay and sadly lots of rain especially on Wednesday. But we love they have free items for U to use from bikes. Trolley for the beach or to the shops. Beach towels and seat's for the beach. They have two vending machines by reception. Water cooler. Lots of brochures on activities and willing to give advice on what's good to do around the area. The room was nice and clean. Maybe a couple of cooking utensil items we found wasn't there we could of used. U have a cookertop. Microwave. Kettle.ur basic tea.coffee.sugar. and a coffee capsule machine and capsules . We had a minor fault on our bathroom door that was fixed when mentioned.should U he wanting a great place to stay in p.d this is . A few steps to the beach and a short stroll to the shops.oh and umbrella to use on those wet days. Please go stay here should we be back in o.d this will be it thanks again to the girls for making our stay so enjoyable 😁😁

Great experience. The concierge service offered by the Girls at reception would be the envy of world class 5 star hotels. Room was great for a self catering stay. Will be back when next in Port Douglas and would highly recommend to friends and family.
