Palm Villas Resort

This wonderful apartment contained everything we needed for our stay. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen including all the cutlery, utensils, consumables like cleaners etc, with free access to a vacuum, iron, washing machine and dryer. The apartments surround a very nice tropical atrium, and include lots of maps and leaflets for trips out. Tropical shrubs and trees surround a well equipped pool with loungers, tables and chairs, plus a shower and toilet. We had no problems with parking, noise or traffic. Ideally located on the edge of the main commercial area less than five minutes walk away. Besides the marina offering every kind of boat trip, Port Douglas has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. A pleasant and informative animal rescue centre is a few minutes drive away at the other end of Port Douglas. Nearby are Mossman Gorge and the Daintree by car or organised trip. Four mile beach is 5-10 minutes walk in the other direction offering a netted lifeguard patrolled section for safer bathing. Backed by tropical trees it provides an excellent place for walking, jogging or relaxing.

Arrived at palm villas apartments very clean when we arrived it was on the ground floor which was good the pool was heated and so relaxing the bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome. The apartment is close to everything in port douglas restaurant and shops close by.
