Arc Resort

We had booked two rooms for the weekend for a family birthday , we had asked for 2 three bedrooms units and for them to be next to each other if we could , but due to being fully booked this wasn’t possible . We had a room on the lower floor , 1a Wow these units are huge with a lovely verandah over looking the gardens and water , great views from every room , the unit had everything we needed , all the beds and pillows were comfortable , huge spa in the ensuite, ( sadly we didn’t get a chance to use it though) 2nd room upstairs ( no lift so gave the younger ones in our group that one , they did t mind ) tip - older generation may find it a bit tiresome walking the stairs to the upper floors . I was a bit worried as I’d booked in a hurry and then read some pretty bad reviews afterwards - they’re a bit tired looking and some of the furniture or bench tops do have marks or worn spots , but it is an older resort and you get what you pay for - it’s in walking distance to the casino and near by restaurants , heaps of parking , the units were very comfortable with everything we needed and the rooms were clean , we all loved our stay there ( 12 adults) the pool and bbq area was great - even did some fishing off the pier The manager is a lovely easy going man , ready to help if needed , easy check in and out . We would definitely stay at the arc again , thank you for a lovely relaxing weekend - tip - if your after glitz and glamor in your rooms , stay at the casino , but if your after Casual comfort at a great price you’ll love 💕 thanks again Arc 😊

This was the 2nd time my family have stayed at the ARC Resort. It is an older property so dont expect all the fancy trimmings of a 5 star resort. However the place has gone massively down hill since the last time i stayed there. The place is disgusting mould on the ceiling fans mould in the bathroom including the curtain which was covered in it.The rooms themselves havent been updated in years. The bed sheet and blanket was covered in something i can only describe as being blood. When i approached the manager he played it down trying to say it was a spread like vegemite but i have photos and the only thing that looks like and drys like that is blood.One of the highlights a few years ago was the pool and BBQ/Kitchen area that overlooked the pool. It had a radio was fully stocked with all kitchen appliances and utensils and had a clean fridge/freezer. Not no more no appliances only the very basic utensils , no radio not even the lights over the pool were working. As for the fridge /freezer i nearly voimited upon openeing it food left in it that had gone mouldy hasnt been cleaned for who nows how long. Now we were a group of 36 people that stayed this time. We originaly had 6 rooms booked and understandingly one of the rooms sold prior to arrival. The manager advised this well in advance but also said that the kids 26 of them all 18 -25yo Cheerleaders could bunk together in 3 rooms. Upon arrival the day before i arrived i had the girls calling me crying saying that he wouldnt supply extra bedding for them he eventually gave in after a phone call from myself. Didnt matter shortly after they checked in anyway several girls checked out immediately and went to the expense of getting an AirBNB Due to the lack of clealiness. They found what was described as pubic hair and toe nail clippings in one of the bedside draws. I can go on and on about how disgusting this place is but will just say that until a new manager is in place at this resort DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY

A good convenient location close to Broadbeach...but spa was out of action..must pay for wifi. Parking was good..lots of little things need maintenance. Booked through Airbnb and economical. Only stay if you have your own transportation
