A clean and spacious suite with everything needed. Very quiet, very comfortable bed and great shower pressure ! Perfectly located to the hospo precinct, beach and tram station. If you’re looking for a cost effective, small, central place to stay Vs a big hotel - I would recommend it. However it is a little dated and could present better - curtains hanging off hooks, aged rooms, mid mash of furniture. It doesn’t present in reality how the website photos look. Flags hanging in the windows of permanent residents kinda impacts on the first impression s aspect.

I would rate this zero if I could. Absolutely appalled by the condition of this accommodation and extremely disappointed that the property has refused to take responsibility or provide a refund despite the overwhelming evidence provided. Upon arrival, the room was clearly not cleaned properly and was extremely unhygienic. We found a sanitary pad underneath one of the beds, hair throughout the room including visible piles on the floor, sand and debris inside cupboards, and dirt and grime in the shower/bath area. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The bathroom tap was faulty and sprayed water aggressively when turned on, and there was also an electrical socket falling out of the wall, which is a serious safety issue. The beds were mounted on wheels without locks and rolled while being used. At one point the bed moved while I rolled over, causing my pillow to fall directly onto the floor into a pile of hair. The listing was also misleading and did not match the actual accommodation provided. There were no toiletries despite these being advertised, no accessible bedside power point as described, and the bedside lamp could not even be plugged in. The photos online appear heavily edited and do not accurately represent the condition or standard of the property. To make matters worse, I experienced significant itching while lying in the bed, which made me concerned about the cleanliness of the bedding and possible bed bugs. I became so uncomfortable that I stopped using the bed entirely and sat on the couch on top of my own clothing for much of the night instead. We documented everything with photographs immediately and raised the issues through Booking.com, however the accommodation provider has still refused to provide a refund despite the serious hygiene and safety concerns. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have had and certainly not what was advertised or paid for. I would strongly caution others before booking this property.

We arrived out of hours and it was easy to locate the key - the same key does front gate, building and room door… not sure how safe this is? We were first met with 7 flights of stairs & no lift option so it wasn’t pleasant carrying the luggage up - be prepared! The room itself was clean and spacious, the kitchen facilities weren’t so good but we ate out so this wasn’t so much an issue. Bathroom facilities were a little dated, the shower was tedious to get to the right temperature. There was also a washing machine & tumble dryer available in the room. The location was very good.
