Hubby had a lawn mowing network event at the island so we decided to stay there. Normally we would go to Broadbeach or further but for convenience we stayed in surfers. Couple with 1 x 2 year old child. Stayed on the 11th floor facing the hinterland in a long suite and it was perfect. There was only noise from tables being dragged around at midnight when the event finished but the other nights it was so quiet. Ask for a room high up and away from the rooftop pub (on level 1)z
Cocktails were soooo good. We got a freebie with our membership, saved another $40 off the room technically!
Hotel rooms are showing their age despite Reno’s (the couches are getting a little old and the hallways still feel like the original island just painted) but for the price we were happy with it. They even give you a small milk, water bottles, snacks and good shampoo and conditioner… it’s the small things that count!
