PARADISE ISLAND

Just inland from prime downtown surfers paradise for a good value price. nice setting on river frontage but the east facing rooms have traffic noise from nearby highway so the north and west rooms will be quieter. big clean rooms with comfy beds but walls starting to look a little grubby from marks and stains (a sugar soap clean would do wonders). overall worth considering as a good value optioon

The hotel is close to the tram and a short walk to Surfers Paradise. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and ammenities were tired and dated, but overall a reasonable stay for a more budget friendly place

The location of this hotel is brilliant just a short walk (maybe three blocks) to the beach and a couple more to the Surfers Paradise strip. The hotel itself is tired but the room was clean and well equipped with kitchen, laundry and bedroom. The couch was old and smelt however. I covered it with a spare towel. Ceiling fan in bedroom was broken though two air con units made up for it I suppose ( though I prefer to sleep with a fan than air con). Balcony had nice canal views and the pool area was great with spa and water feature though I think you’d struggle to get a sunlounge in peak periods. Overall, very tired and in need of some renovations but it represents good value for the price. You’re not paying much so don’t expect too much and you’ll be happy.
