Ibis Styles Adelaide Grosvenor

I stayed on floor 4 in May, 2026. The location of this hotel is amazing and incredibly convenient. The staff were also fantastic and friendly. Unfortunately the property is let down by major maintenance issues. The room smelled musty and stale and the air conditioning was really loud. Turning it off made the room feel more stifling. O there are two lifts but only one lift was working and according to other guests who’ve stayed previously it’s been out of order for at least 3 years. Also the bathroom basin soap container was almost empty. Great staff but the building desperately needs repairs.

We have stayed here now a couple of times and overall the stay was good, staff pleasant and rooms were fine. We did have a leaky shower but it was not the end of the world. Central and easy to get to via train from regional area. If you are driving I believe there is only limited parking although there are parking stations all around.

Worst Accor property around. It’s had bad reviews but didn’t realise how bad till I stayed there. Very much a sweated Assett. Dated rooms, old curtains that don’t close , ancient tv. Heating doesn’t work. And when turned on sounds like a truck in the room. Despite being a great location. It’s like the owners don’t care. Seriously
