The Vineyards Motel

A very friendly greeting from the extremely helpful receptionist/cleaner/owner. On arrival the motel looks like a classic motel style but enter the rooms and they are spotless, spacious and beautifully renovated with all the furniture and amenities you could need. Bed was massive and comfortable and the TV was easy to use and aircon was powerful. We were really impressed, it really is a hidden gem with a decent sized pool too and garden and barbecue area. Would definitely recommend it.

A classic older style motel with parking outside the door and clean, basic accommodation in a big room. Plenty of hot water. There’s only a single basin for both bathroom and kitchen needs which is not ideal. We found the laundry useful. The machines only take coins but the service station next door was helpful in changing notes. The motel is about 2km out of town so you need to drive for breakfast and dinners. Saturday morning Barossa Farmers Market is just across the road, bonus! Good value for a short stay. Angaston is a very pretty town.

We stayed 5 nights at Angaston Vineyards motel. An older, but nice and clean motel with very friendly owners. Close to Barossa wineries and attractions. The pool is clean and well maintained. The motel could use some updating. The only thing that took me by surprise was that there was no sink in the bathroom but a common sink for bath and kitchenette area.
