Goolwa Central Motel

I stayed on the ground floor so I didn’t have to negotiate stairs. The room as clean and comfortable. Walking distance from eateries and the wharf. Parking right outside the door. Check in was easy and fast. The room was a good size, with a couch and coffee table. Bed was very comfortable. Bar fridge, toaster and kettle provided along with basic cutlery and crockery. For a couple of nights it suited my needs and I’d stay again.

Nice large room but…. They only had a very small old tv that had no HD. This meant you couldn’t get channel 7, only a few channels were available . HD has been around for years. They need to spend some of their profits and buy new tvs!! Manager tried to tell us that HD has only just come in. The towels weren’t clean. Stains on them and they smelt. Shower curtain was a bit gross. Over rated and over priced!

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was very nice and good value. Even though situated on the main street, we were not aware of extra noise and slept soundly. We were able to walk everywhere Off-street parking available. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Jack’s Cafe which was next door.
