Apartments on Tolmie

I frequently come to mount gambier for work and have stayed at all of the apartments over the past few years both on my own and also with my family. The apartments are very comfortable and clean with full kitchen facilities and coffee machine. There is free wifi which is very useful for work. Heating is effective in the family room with a wall heater and there are also electric blankets on the beds. Rooms are large. There is a three bedroom and two bedroom apartment. The two bedroom had one bedroom with a double bed and a single and then the main bedroom also with double bed. Good base for seeing the sights or for work.

We needed urgent accomodation in mt gambier due to a family funeral. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of accomodation available this weekend due to a sporting carnival. Searched through trip advisor tried a few and was able to book into Apartments on Tolmie. Emails to the owners were answered promptly and they were very helpful and lovely. When we arrived the apartments blew our minds. It was lovely. Excellent facilities especially if you were staying longer. Washing machine and clothes dryer, dish washer, coffee machine. Close to centre of mt gambier and quite They also have pet friendly apartment as well for those wanting to travel with their pets. Certinly would have no problems recommending these apartments or coming back to stay here

Advertised as 4 star, but looking at the plaque on the wall shows that award was in 2007. I'm not sure there's been a real cleaning of unit 4 since then. Dust thick enough to write in on the fridge, dead flies in abundance, the obligatory mystery stains on the lounge room carpet and stains and marks throughout the whole apartment. Sheets in the dryer on arrival, back door unlocked - good thing I checked- and again with the freaking dust and dirt everywhere. Seriously, avoid this place unless you want to clean and pre wash all the dirty dishes. On
