Open House

Me and my friend were due to be here tomorrow but The B&B was really flexible in bringing it forward a day after being let down at some questionable ‘accommodation’ on the south of the island. When we arrived we were met with a lovely welcome from Jane, she’s settled us into the rooms, helped us out with some island info for the night and showed us where the launderette was. The rooms are clean, cosy and bright. The shower is incredible just what we needed after a day on the quad bikes. We’re looking forward to bacon and eggs for breakfast in the morning. Jane was extremely friendly and helpful. The eggs for breakfast were yummy as was the toast. When I say eggs I mean bacon, spinach, cheese and eggs baked in a small dish. The bed was super comfy and warm. The bathroom adequate with a lovely hot shower. The Open House is in the centre of Kangaroo Island so easy access to everything.

Just returned from 6 days on the island staying here. Enjoyed the stay, Jane is a great host and all those staying had a great time sitting around the table talking. Great breakfast, rooms very comfortable and wood fire in the lounge a bonus, Thanks Jane, appreciated everything during my stay.
