My wife and I stayed for one night in the English Cottage during our visit to Launceston, and it was a lovely experience. The cottage has a charming heritage feel, with beautiful period features like the fireplace, built-in bookshelves, and tasteful décor that gives it plenty of character. It felt warm, welcoming, and very relaxing.
The bedroom was comfortable and nicely presented, and we appreciated the spacious bathroom with its classic clawfoot bathtub and separate shower—a nice touch after a day of exploring Tasmania. The cottage was clean, quiet, and well maintained, making it easy to unwind.
If you're looking for accommodation with old-world charm rather than a generic hotel room, this is a wonderful choice. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Launceston.
