Glen Isla House

The worst thing about our stay was that we could unfortunately only spend one night at Glen Isla. Already on our arrival we were greeted very warmly by Evie & Richard. The two give great tips for restaurants and sights and are happy about every exchange. We immediately felt at home. The rooms were cozy and tastefully decorated, and we slept wonderfully. Our reason for visiting was the penguins, and we had a fantastic time – unfortunately far too short. The breakfast the next morning was very delicious and lovingly prepared. On our next visit we definitely stay for a longer time. The only downside of our stay was that we could spend just one night at Glen Island. From the moment we arrived, Evie & Richard welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality. They shared great recommendations for restaurants and sights and were always happy to chat. We immediately felt at home. The rooms were cozy, beautifully decorated, and we slept wonderfully. We came to see the penguins and had an amazing time -- unfortunately far too short. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and prepared with great care. Next time, we will definitely stay for a longer period.

The hospitality is splashing off. Richard is a more than fantastic and amiable host. His wife Eve is also great in the background. The whole B&B is very tastefully decorated and the room is comfortably furnished. We would have liked to stay here longer. Richard knows a lot about the island, has good tips and is just a pleasant interlocutor. The breakfast Richard and Eve provide is better than many a 5-star hotel. We have experienced our stay as great.

My partner and I had a terrific experience staying at Glen Isla House. The room was well maintained and comfortable, and the breakfast was very very good. Richard and his wife were so welcoming. On top of all of this, we hit a snag with our transportation on the island, and Richard was only too happy to help us out to figure out alternatives and even so far as to use his phone. He went above and beyond. We are appreciative and would recommend to any of our friends to stay there.
