I was really disappointed by this accommodation which was recommended by the St Vincent’s private hospital while a family member was having surgery. For the money you pay ($185 a night to have 2 beds) it really isn’t worth it. The shower was dirty - grimy and mouldy. The shower shelf was broken off and had looked like it had been that was for some time given the rust. Air conditioner hardly works and dirty, and you don’t even get room service until you stay 5 nights. No information in the room about where the facilities are but the laundry is free to use. Gym was supposed to be 24 hour access but was locked. The only cooking facilities were a toaster and a microwave. The staff were nice enough though. Cafe was good for breakfast.

Fantastic spot, rooms are great size, also extremely quiet place. Only problem this time was the lift is not working, hopefully that will be sorted very soon.

While I didn't stay here - I just attended for a conference - I wanted to give a special shout out to chef Henry - a young gun - who elevated our conference experience immensely with his fresh, home made baked goods. In an age where mass produced and cost efficiency is the norm, it was an unexpected delight to have Henry deliver his warm treats at morning and afternoon tea. Standouts (actually everything!) included (GF?) rhubarb cake, pistachio and white chocolate cookies, chocolate brownies, blueberry muffins and molten chocolate chip cookies. Henry's care and passion for his craft elevated the experience of all the delegates at our conference. I believe Henry's treats are available to guests too. Thank you Henry for spoiling us all with your artisanal baked goods!
