Comfort Inn Bay City

A good location to stay in Anavar, with parking, which is welcome to park for free. Correct Welcoming

We chose this location due to the previous reviews about being clean and central in Geelong and wanted to save a little money for this trip. When we drove into the carpark, the graffiti on the front entrance was not a good look or the reception which was untidy. The $100 deposit on top of the tariff was a pain but you get it back the next day. The room was clean as stated in previous rooms. The bed - OMG was like a rock, my old swag would have been softer. However the motel is only a few blokes from the bay and the restaurant precinct. Budget accommodation.

Our room was perfect. It was clean, bedding and furnishing were in great condition. Bathroom fixtures were all new and the shower had nice water pressure. It was a great location to everything. The beach was just a quick stroll down the road. Awesome beach pools, massive one with diving boards and lots of room if you're a lap swimmer. The other pool is great for little ones. The Geelong Botanic Gardens is wonderful and it's not massive so you can fit in other adventures into your day if you don't have a lot of time. We also drove out to the Werribee Open Range Zoo. It's just under an hour to get there.
