COMFORT RESORT ALZBURG

The resort is only a short walk from the CBD. There is a large pool and tennis court for recreational use. The room was clean and was well equipped, for the price. My only issue was the clerestory windows, you couldn't reach the shutters to close them, so the sun was in the room at 0500. But all in all, it was good. Might be a little different when it is fully booked, because the noise would carry.

Our experience at Alzburg Resort completely disappointing, almost shocking. When we called with a basic inquiry, the general manager, Ramesh E, was so unbelievably hostile and hot tempered and hung up mid-sentence. No explanation at all. To this day I'm still not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but directing that hostility to a customer for no reason was completely uncalled for. Then, when we returned our ski gear, later that day, Ramesh was speaking to his team, unaware that we could literally hear him. He made several rude and racist remarks about us. Yes, we heard every word. We approached another staff member to raise a complaint about the entire experience, but was offered no explanation or resolution. Ramesh just retreated immediately to the back. No apology given at all. If you're thinking of staying here, ask yourself: do you want to support a business that treats its customers with contempt? A business that hurls insults and hangs up on you depending if they have a bad day or not? There are plenty of other options that won’t make you feel like you’re paying to be disrespected. Definitely avoid at all costs...
