Easystay Motel

I didn't know what to expect when I booked this as it was a last minute thing. I was overall, pleasantly surprised and it was perfect for a quick weekend trip. When I checked in the staff were found to be very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was actually really modern and bright and seemed like a quality fit out. The location is awesome at lower end of Fitzroy Street and close to the water. The only thing to look out for is that there is quite a bit of noise from the street, e.g. birds, rowdy people, vehicle, etc. Maybe bring some earplugs.

Great location, staff were amazing. They all went above and beyond. Towels in the bathroom were dirty on arrival. Lots of homeless/ people getting high in the back car park. Not much privacy. Restaurant at your door step and lots to choose from. Wasn’t the worst wasn’t the best

We stayed at 65 Ackland street for 2 nights then on our return for 3 nights Would not recommend staying in Ackland street if you are not young The room was clean enough very basic on our return the waste bin hadn’t been emptied from the previous tenant The noise from the street was horrendous lots of shouting and music noise which went on until 4 o’clock in the morning hence no sleep Our cousin also stayed at Fitzroy street although the room had been modernised and was very nice they had the same trouble with noise from the street l think these apartments are not in a very good area If you are young and want to party all night then these apartments are ideal but don’t go there if you are a mature couple like us
