We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Melbourne. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Southern Cross Station and within easy reach of Melbourne's attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, while the hotel's beautiful heritage character gave it a unique charm that modern hotels often lack. A special thank you to Chirry and Denis for their warm hospitality and outstanding customer service. They made us feel genuinely welcome and helped make our stay memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne.

We've stayed here quite a few times, and will continue to do so as The Grand is a standard that's hard to pass up. The building itself, a partially converted Rail station office, is utterly gorgeous. Any photo will attest to this. It offers floors of old-era halls and rooms which have been updated with more modern utilities. Gorgeous. The on-site parking is quite limited outside (possibly 20 or so) but I'm told there's underground parking also - either way you're literally a 2 minute walk from Flinders Station if you're training it. Front desk is always pleasant and efficient, with extra thanks to Denis the Hotel Manager who is always excellent. If you've any questions at all, he'd be happy to lend some experience and suggestion of the hotel or goings on in the city. Rooms are, as far as I know, 2 storey. You enter, exposed to the kitchen, small dining area, loungeroom, then upstairs to the bed and ensuite. Large ceilings, windows, harkening back to a more stylised time. The onsite restaurant is also excellent and u may be offered a 20% discount as a guest. All in all, absolutely a must.

We have stayed here many times over the years and it does not disappoint. We love: the perfect location, the spaciousness and quietness of the apartments, the staff and Denis the Manager, the pool, the wonderful Indian restaurant on the ground floor, the comfortable beds, the cleanliness. Also, of course, there is the charm of the building itself. All of this plus great value for money keeps us coming back. We know we will have a great stay and be warmly welcomed by Denis and the staff.
