Hilton Melbourne On The Park

We stayed 2 nights ( Friday & Saturday) for a function on the Saturday and I have to say the experience was great. I arrived early as I had boxes of books and the bell captain safely took the boxes & my luggage. It was convenient to check in online the day prior and be able to share expected arrival time. When we returned after some shopping our room was ready & all our belongings were waiting for us. The room was well designed and quiet. I especially liked the bathroom with the shower controls easy to access before stepping in. I took advantage of the bar and restaurant and loved the post football atmosphere. The location is fantastic with the gardens and easy access to free transportation. I also recommend walking around the streets with some of the most beautiful architecture.

f you are heading to the MCG, this is an excellent place to stay. A word of caution though — on game days parking is at a premium and the car spaces are very tight. Thankfully, there is a tram stop right out the front, making trips into the city very convenient for those wanting to explore Melbourne. The meals were great, the room was well appointed, and the overall stay was very comfortable. The only downside was that the bar area became extremely crowded and noisy with game-day patrons, which at times impacted the experience for overnight guests using the facilities.

Actual luxury truly fantastic! Amazing breakfasts, attentive staff, and a great location with easy access to transport. Loved our stay!
