I honestly have nothing good to say about this place. Incompetence on another level. I stayed for two nights, couldn’t sleep the first night due to room noise that staff refused to attend to.

Fourth time staying here. This time was room 180 and got upgraded to a twin queen. (as a solo traveler, seems a bit silly to get this when they can see the booking is for 1 person) 4 windows facing onto a back alley and honestly better to keep the curtains closed and use the lights than trying for natural light. The blackout blinds weren't the greatest, some didn't stay in the tracks properly and were letting in light in the sides and most let in light at the bottom despite being closed fully. The ceiling lights were a bit suss as there's 3 different sets and some took a little bit to kick in. And the switches themselves were confusing, as in trying to figure out which belong to what ones and someone were only accessible by the door but one set as also by the beds. Overkill on how many power points were in the room, though nice that some had usb options on them too. Bathroom was a good size but I found the water pressure a bit rubbish. Bed was super comfy as always. Unfortunately, there was a staff door directly opposite so I could hear it slamming all morning with staff coming and going, even with earplugs in. I get they have a job to do and it is also a fire door, but some common curtesy for guests would be nice. Also, if you get put here and its raining, the water running out from the drainpipe on the outside wall is noisy as. Fantastic location, trams easily accessible (86 &96) and shops are walkable. Room is always clean and tidy on arrival. They do have self serve check ins, the manned reception desk, and an online checkout option as well for choice. Will stay again.

Recently stayed one night on the first floor. The room was huge and clean. The bathroom looked new. The room looked out onto Little Collins street . Pool very very small with sauna, which all needed up dating. Breakfast buffet was okay. BUT what was not expected was the noise from the bars and clubs near the hotel. From around 10pm to 3am the music, the DJ and the crowd were so loud it felt like we were trying to sleep in a club. I even tried ear plugs, but they didn't work. When we checked out the next morning and we complained that it was the worst room we had ever stayed in because of the noise from the bars. The hotel reception staff said no one else had ever complained to her about this and she doesn't know of any clubs or pubs near the hotel. Very disappointing.
