Property was generally clean & quiet. We stayed at Crown cottage. But there were a few missing points. Check in was supposed to be at 2. We arrived at 2.30 waiting for the cleaners to leave the property. We all tiptoed on the wet floor as we entered. I was immediately looking for slipppers which was listed as inclusions when i booked the property. Pretty dissapointed that they were not provided, i would happily bring mine if i knew (inclusions needs to be updated) There was a can of mortein sitting on the kitchen bench next to the free breakfast supplies, which was very offputting. I had no plans to feed the kids any of the supplies. By the next morning, the jam in the tiny tub were covered in ants, which now i believe explains the mortein & made me wonder if it had been used to spray it?! The bed in one of the rooms were sunken, i had to prop up my 4 year old on pillows to make it even, luckily she slept well We had a great time at mt dandenong, but i dont think i'll be back here

I stayed at Crown Cottage with a friend for a quiet weekend away. The cottage was warm and welcoming, with a large kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. The outdoor area was great for sitting outside in the garden on a warm day. I would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed in the Dandenongs many times at many different B&Bs over many years. My stay at the Adeline majestic with my partner this weekend was lovely and we both feel quite relaxed! Thank you for having us. There were some lovely touches, but also some missing which I’ve seen at other B&Bs, so I couldn’t give 5 stars. Pros - stunning gardens/property with lovely chairs to sit on outside as well - Good parking spaces for each cottage - Beautiful, comfy queen bed with nice linen - Lovely fire - Great size spa Bath - Robes and slippers left for 2 people - Some breakfast provisions that are beautifully presented - DVDs, books/magazines left - Wifi - Nice local sweet treats left aswell - Good tea and coffee provisions - Can organise in home couples massages which we did and was lovely. Cons - was given no prior information that a $150 bond would be taken... I think it’s very important guests know this and can budget accordingly - There was a beautiful big bath but no bubble bath, bath bomb or bath salts. This was hugely disappointing. All other B&Bs with a bath in the area have had this. We had to go buy some. Bath plug is also really poor. As soon as someone touches it all the water runs out. We had to refill 3 times. - There was fire lighters and news paper left but no matches or lighter in sight. Luckily my partner had one in the car or we would have been in strife. - All other B&Bs have also provided some protein for breakfast - bacon and eggs. What was left was lovely but it would be nice to have that on top to make it a more full breakfast. - Torch in kitchen didn’t work from dead batteries (we fixed it). - Part of the view from the beautiful lounge room windows is the 3 bins!!! Would be lovely if this was covered by a bush or something as it really spoils a gorgeous scene. All in all we had a beautiful stay here. I would recommend it, but implementing these changes would bring it to 5 stars and give this place a more competitive edge to other local B&Bs. I will continue trying out new places 😊
