Absolutely disgusted in my recent stay! This was my third time staying (stayed twice personally and once through work). We arrived back at the lobby after our concert around 11pm and noticed an elderly couple looking distressed and on the phone to what sounded like the police. We asked if they were okay, they explained to us that they had travelled very far on public transport for medical reasons and they arrived after hours (they did ring and let reception know) the on call person was HORRIBLE and extremely rude. Essentially wasn’t going to allow them there room without bank transferring $200 for the security bond (which they didn’t know how to do) meaning they had to sleep on the street. The on call man also called the man in the connivence store telling him to ‘lock the sliding door so they can’t get back inside the lobby’. He then proceeded to threaten us when we stepped in to help this elderly couple. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. The negligence this man showed this elderly couple was disgusting.

Horrible experience. Despite calling and booking and informing them of arrival time and details we arrived and they immediately tried to charge a early check in fee that was not disclosed at any point. After finally being able to start checking in - here came the next surprise charge... $200 security bond that "should" get returned within 7-10 business days, again not disclosed before / during booking. When you get into the rooms its obvious any security bonds they have kept for damage hasn't been spent on any repairs. Holes in walls, kitchen damaged, shower / bathroom in rough state - walls and and flat surfaces in bedrooms covered in dust etc. Bedroom door opens about 30% before hitting bed so it can't open fully. If it wasn't for the location this would be a 1 star review. No one available to manage check out until at least 9am on a Sunday. This is 2025 - even budget accommodation standards are higher than this. If you have another suitable option, take it, you'll be better for it...

Having seen some scathing reviews here I was full of trepidation, having booked prior to checking. Necessitated a late check-in for 2 nights as flight arrived post 830pm, which was a smooth process over the phone and whatsapp. I requested a refurbished room and got one, which was great. It is a budget stay. Pretty good for the money. Would recommend if this is around your budget. I'd stay again. Recent new management and they are currently refurbing by appt What Could be improved: Windows need cleaning externally Bed mattress could be better. Better beverage selection Bath tub has a wear spot but cosmetic What I liked Fresh apartment, very cleanly presented. New: carpets, paint - incl hallway, Some wear to kitchen area but good effort with refurb Kitchen equipt is quite comprehensive, though I did not use Wifi is solid and fast. Didnt bother with any pics . Sorry
