Ibis Budget

Horrible experience, room was so tiny that couldn't move around the bed, the foot of the bed was just inches from the other wall. Nothing like the website photos! Complained but they refused to refund. Nothing...left and stayed at another hotel instead.

Had a great stay just under 3 weeks. Was in a superior room on 1st floor looking over Elizabeth Street,was a bit noisy early morning asked if I could move up higher and the lovely reception staff couldn't of been more accommodating. They moved me to level 6 and I couldn't of been more happy with the room. Keep in mind it is a budget hotel and for the price it was really good value. Thanks to the lovely reception staff you do an awesome job .

My mum and I recently stayed at ibis Budget Melbourne CBD for 5 nights. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Jason at reception, who assisted us with our check-in. Unfortunately, upon entering our assigned room, we found that it was very small, quite dimly lit, and not what we were expecting for a stay of that length. Knowing that we would be spending 5 nights there, we returned to reception to see if there was any possibility of changing rooms. Jason attended to us once again, and his service was truly exceptional. He went above and beyond by personally showing us three different available rooms, taking the time to let us view each one and decide which we felt most comfortable staying in. What stood out to us was that Jason genuinely cared about our comfort. He mentioned that since we would be staying for 5 days, he wanted to make sure we were comfortable in the room we chose. That level of thoughtfulness and customer care is something we truly appreciated. His patience, understanding, and willingness to help made a huge difference to our experience. We are very grateful for Jason's outstanding customer service and his genuine effort to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Employees like him are a great asset to the hotel. Thank you, Jason, for making our Melbourne trip much more enjoyable!
