Oaks On Market

TV didn’t work. Multiple requests over 2 days and still not sorted. No discount or room change offered. Showers are ordinary. Poor water pressure and temperature consistency. Barely warm enough for cold Melbourne mornings and constantly fluctuated with cold spurts. Basics missing. No suitcase rack, very little coffee, milk etc and no tissues. Not worth the $$.

It's in a great location, close to everything. The food tastes great from the restaurant at Oaks, with friendly service. Loved the heated pool, gym, sauna & spa facilities. The only thing I would suggest, is to place a non slip rubber mat around the pool and spa areas, as they're very slippery & dangerous.

Oaks on Market is prefectly located for exploring Melbourne by foot, tram, bus or traom as it's located only a few meters from Flinders Street. The views from our room were outstanding. The studio room was quiet, very spacious and had a large bathroom. The staff were friendly and efficient, and although we didn't visit it, there is an onsite bar/restaurant. which looked very nice.
