Best Western Warby Lodge Motor Inn

Look, this is a budget motel, so not expecting high standards. But a/c worked poorly, room was freezing almost the whole time I was there. Also, no power points for me to plug laptop into - I had to wrestle with mounted TV so I could use the one plug on that whole wall. Also, there was plenty of black mould in the shower, so not all that thrilled with the cleanliness either. The staff were nice, as was the location, but I won't hurry back.

Comfortable bed, nice bath, relaxing experience. Walking distance to the centre. I stayed in room 14 for one night. Really appreciated the owner on the front desk helping me out with a couple of things. I would stay again when I return to Wangaratta.

Booking was easy and the gentleman was pleasant when I checked in. He gave us an upstairs room but we had heavy bags so he swapped us to downstairs. The room smelled like musty cigarettes and the carpet was stained and rippling everywhere. It was clean. The bed was OK. The Carpark is pretty tight - especially for our big truck and we had to enter down the side as we didn’t fit under the main entry. The pool is small. It wasn’t unexpected for the price ($150 a night). It had all we needed for a quick stopover.
