Such a beautiful Location. Stunning, Quiet and so pretty. Clean, bright, well appointed lovely room. The dams are close and well worth a walk around the property. Union Hotel 10 mins away is a fantastic, upmarket country pub. I was here for work but can’t wait Tom come again.

We stayed in the school house and we loved it. Extremely nice room, looking over a couple of big dams that we could see from our bed. Stunning garden on a winters day that we could walk around that had green lawns and palm trees. Staff were friendly on our arrival as well as the animals. Plenty of breakfast supplied, even a bottle of champagne. Definitely a must place to visit if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway.

We wanted a couple of days in a quiet country retreat with a little bit of history attached. Quamby Homestead delivered on all these things. Given the character of the old schoolhouse the facilities provided were adequate for the 2 days we were here. Perhaps the only negative would be the long walk across grass to the accommodation - not so good in wet weather. The bed was comfortable, enough in the way of breakfast provisions, and a pleasant view of the surrounding countryside. If you are looking for a low key country retreat experience away from it all, then this place is well worth considering!
