We stayed two nights at the Albany Motel whilst travelling to Perth. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The king sized bed was very comfy. There was a wardrobe to hang clothes in. The room had a fridge, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, cutlery and crockery. There was no microwave. Modern bathroom with great shower. There was a table with 2 chairs and a seperate desk with a chair. There was also a comfy single sofa style seat. Glass sliding door lead out to a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Nice big screen TV. Free wifi worked well. Had to wash cutlery and crockery in the shallow sink in the bathroom. We understood it was a non-smoking motel, but you could not smoke on the balcony out the front door. There was a designated smoking area was an uncovered area in the corner of the car park. Not great if it is raining. I would stay here again.

We have stayed here 2 years in a row and just booked for 2027. Rooms are always clean and tidy and the hotel is central for us to attend Albany Around the Houses

We enjoyed a very nice overnight stay in King Suite room. This is a classic small business motel in Australia, with excellent delivery of the lodging. For context, we traveled with two large suitcases for a several-week trip Down Under. This shaped our view of room sizes and bathroom counter space. Things we liked: - Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room. Well-equipped with mini-fridge, microwave, and some kitchenware. Roomy for our gear, enough counter space. Also has a bit of a water view. - Friendly staff. Very helpful with recommendations. - Free parking with reasonable sized spaces (we drove an SUV). - Very central location. About 2 blocks to everything: “downtown”, the marina, park, and businesses. Other notes: - As a 20ish room, small motel they operate with the business model of reception being manned about 0700-1900. - There is not a safe in the room. - The rooms use standard keys. There is an additional security latch from the inside. All told, among the best small-business hotels of our trip.
