Misleading photos, very dated decor, needs modernising, musty smell, shower tray mouldy, outside space meant to be a courtyard but just chairs in a barren concrete corridor, not all lamps working,very dirty remote for tv, very disappointed. On a positive note the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and walking distance to a variety of restaurants.

Nice and beautiful at a reasonable price. Clean and with good beds. Possibility to make coffee/tea. Good location close to the center and restaurants.

Starting with the positives, the reception staff are lovely and helpful and perform their roles very well. That’s about where it ends. There are two properties here - the lodge and the motel. We stayed in the motel. Don’t be fooled, it is definitely not 4 stars. The motel is not advertised fairly online. My room was in poor condition, dark, smelled damp and stale, the bathroom and fittings in the room look like they haven’t been updated since 1970/80s. Whilst the bed, TV and microwave are newish, nothing else is. As a group travelling together we had 10 of the motel rooms and they were all similarly tired and old. Some are however brighter than mine was. Let’s be clear, there is nothing wrong with old motels as long as you clearly advertise, with REALISTIC photos, what you are offering. This motel, and its website, does not do that and as a result we were very disappointed. We won’t be back.
