Wyndham Resort & Spa Dunsborough

My wife and I stayed at Wyndham at Dunsborough WA from Aug 27 2026 through to 3rd September. Reception staff (Laura / Charlotte and Fanny) were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. David (Manager) helped to get our bags in our room which was very spacious and comfortable. With use of our rental car it was easy to get to Dunsborough Town Centre, Margaret River, Augusta, Busselton and many other attractions such as chocolate factory, Bethany Winery with its Nougat and a variety of markets and eating places

We stayed here for a week. 4 adults booked in and based on description of privacy for 6 I expected a two bathroom unit but we were only in a small one bathroom, one toilet unit. Bedding was comfortable but having all clothes storage for both bedrooms in the hallway near the bathroom was inconvenient and reduced privacy as well, Staff were lovely and helpful. Accommodation as mentioned in other reviews is not within walking distance to restaurants or coffee shops so a car is a must. Good bike and walk paths nearby. We only ordered takeaway from restaurant, first order was pizza which was tasty but they gave us wrong item and second time we ordered gnocchi and amount that arrived was less than entree size even though it was a main. Both times when we contacted the restaurant they apologised and gave us options as apologies but not a good look. You can walk through the gardens and past the pool to see the beach. Our view and most units view was of the gardens which were lovely. There is a lift in the main area but you still have to navigate about 5 steps to reach the walkway to your unit. If disabled I would definitely recommend a ground floor only. There is room onsite to bring a motorhome or caravan if needed. Check out Vasse Food Market about 15 minutes away.

I stayed in Deluxe king. Room is nice, Amenities are good but the walls are paper thin. When a neighbour washes dishes or clothes at midnight it is a bit hard to sleep. Also the feeling of being watched. Perhaps check the screw areas under the sink in the bathroom, behind the fridge and under the tv before you stay. Creeepy.
