All Seasons Kununurra

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving at 11AM by their free transfer from KNX Airport. The young receptionist checked my passport for our prepayment, then escorted us to our room. #319 was new, wood floored & spacious, opening to a large closet unit across a nice bathroom with quick hot water & shower, then desk unit with chair/kettle/refer, large TV across a comfortable king. Good lighting, many outlets, quiet HVAC & good secure WiFi. Active bar & restaurant during the evenings. Kind and friendly staff. We walked 3 blocks north, passing the large Coles supermarket to the visitor center and enjoyed swimming laps each afternoon in their beautiful 28’x50’ pool.

This suited us for a car-free visit to Kununurra at a reasonable rate. Free airport shuttle (pre-booked), good continental breakfast in our rate, restaurant for dinner (pricey, but good for a remote town), for daytime walking was 10 mins to the town centre and lakefront park in opposite directions and 20 mins to the entrance to Mirama National Park. Our room and public areas all looked recently renovated to a good modern motel standard. We liked that room access was behind locked gates. The continuing renovations on the other side of the property didn’t impact our stay.

I came as part of a tour and my room was clean and comfortable with a very comfortable king bed. There is a lot of security needing the use of your room key to open gates. The pool looked quite good although I didn't have time to try it out. We had a continental breakfast with a reasonable choice.
