Do not stay here! We stayed Christmas eve and guests were abandoned Xmas day. A boxed breakfast left in room with no cutlery , staff unable to be reached due to phone taken off the hook, we tried to help some os guests wanting to leave luggage till checkin, no one around to help, they couldn'treach anyone by phone, 40 degrees outside. Couldn't even have a bath as the pushin plug was broken. If this is what you consider hospitality I'd be looking for another career!!

Very pleasantly surprised at this heritage hotel located at the top end of St George’s Tce. Plenty of buses passing outside to take you various places with the CBD, Kings Park, Leederville, etc. Staff including Sam and Hannah were very friendly and helpful, evening meal and breakfast were very good and great value. Hardly any traffic noise in our room thanks to double glazing, bed was good too. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was woeful. I ordered smashed avo on toast with poached eggs. The smashed avo alone was $19, and was a smear of one avacado on pretty standard bread with some fetta crushed over the top (See picture). I probably would have paid $6 for this lame excuse for a breakfast, but $19 was pure robery. The poached eggs were forgotten about, so I had to send it back, and service in general was poor.
