Excellent holiday in Hotel Maria Theresia. Check-in was easy and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel. Great size, lots of storage and spotless. The lady who cleaned the room was very efficient and did a great job every day. Bathroom is modern, shower position is odd as it’s in the middle of the bath so the shower screen is hopeless and you soak the floor. Breakfast was excellent and the four course evening meal is outstanding. Big shout out to the waiting staff, Fiona, Rosalina and Eric who are always smiling and very friendly and efficient. There is road noise but I tend to wear ear plugs so it didn’t bother me. It did bother my partner on occasion. The hotel is very close to the town centre and the hahnenkahm lift. Overall we loved the hotel and would stay there again.

We have many a time, walked past this hotel on our numerous trips to Kitzbuhel. Well this time we stopped and sorry to say we should have stopped much sooner. It’s just 500 yards from the main town and the same to both the train and cable stations. From Entering the foyer we were treated like we were the only guest staying. The ask if it would be possible to have a room with a walk in shower. No problem Can we have a balcony. No problem. Can it be with a view. No problem I do it a disservice by saying view it was spectacular. The room was spacious and spotless but missing kettle but again, one was provided on request. As to the staff, friendly, happy to help, but more importantly very professional. No request was a chore. As a vegetarian food can sometimes be limited on a set menu. NOT HERE the choices were fabulous. Never sorry, you can have some chips if you don’t like it . Again with the soups. Nothing was too much trouble.

A wonderful hotel experience! We stayed four nights and enjoyed our time immensely. The location is great. A short walk to the gondola, about 7-8 minutes, and only 2-3 minutes to many local restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant was fabulous (we did the half board), including the service. The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. The front bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the slopes. Our room was in the front but we found the road noise to be tolerable. The town of Kitzbuhel is captivating and provided enough to do when not skiing. I highly recommend this for a ski vacation and would definitely stay here again.
