Gasthof Zur Post und Nebenhauser

We went to the restaurant yesterday for dinner with friends. The Service was good, the food was mixed, e.g. the fries soft, the potato salad from the can, the meat partially fried etc. , but edible. After paying, I was "intercepted" by the boss at the exit and measured by her when leaving the restaurant. She trained me that the tip I gave, of 3 euros for an invoice amount of 107 euros, was rather shabby and thus the service quality was called into question. She would have expected at least 10-15 percent, that would have been around 15 euros Furthermore, she pointedly said "It would have been better not to tip at all than so little" I have to say that this hasn't happened to me yet. The lady does not seem to know that tipping in our countries is not an obligation, but a voluntary service and the amount of it is determined solely by the giver. And what puts the crown on the barrel, she kept me this timpani in front of other guests! We are locals from Villach and were yesterday for the first, but after this experience certainly for the last time in this "friendly house". The landlady gets a Roman A in the compartment, how do I scare my guests away!

Very nice staff....rooms are well equipped - everything you need when stopping for a stopover at this hotel. Breakfast buffet is a dream Staff very friendly

Rooms okay, persona friendly, quality of food used not very good. Mashed potatoes finished product, fish "seelaachs" ready-made bread, Styrian root meat a piece of rib without meat on it and smell. Pasta abundance tasteless. More fresh cooking!!!
