Hotel Schloss Leonstain

The location is very good, and Leon Beach by the lake is also beautiful. You also have the option to eat and drink there. The dinner at the hotel is highly recommended! Especially when you sit in the beautiful courtyard. The hotel is also just a few minutes' walk from the train station. Supermarket, drugstore, and bank are all within walking distance. Service was always very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is also very good.

We have rarely been so disappointed by the look of a hotel. The castle hotel might seem charming at first glance, but this impression fades very quickly. The entire interior is heavily worn, frayed, and long outdated. Clear signs of wear are visible everywhere, the rooms look unkempt and are in urgent need of a comprehensive renovation, even if the pictures on the internet look different, whenever they were taken. Instead of historical charm, guests are primarily met with outdated furniture and an overall run-down impression. We canceled the room immediately because we did not feel comfortable there and the condition was not acceptable to us. A castle hotel should convey elegance and special comfort – here, however, one feels more like they are in an aging accommodation than in an upscale hotel. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. This hotel cannot be recommended.

We celebrated our dream wedding at Leonstain Castle a few days ago. We are still overwhelmed by this great atmosphere. It was just perfect. If we had the opportunity to award more than 5 stars then we would. A big thank you to the heart of the house Family Obmann, Daria and Stefan are a well-coordinated team from the organization to the kitchen which is fabulous and excellent . We have visited many hotels before, but none can offer this flair. Here love and passion count for detail. Authentic warmth in all areas. We are very happy and grateful that we celebrated our wedding at Leon Beach and the castle. Also a very big compliment to the service of the house !!! Manuel and Jürgen a great team incredible and with so much passion and commitment to the profession. A thank you to all the staff of the castle you are great. This castle makes history and is very special . Especially for a holiday , especially for celebrations , and an absolute dream for a wedding .
