Goldenes Lamm

We were on our way to Venice with stop in Villach. A fine hotel with extremely friendly staff. Good breakfast. Really recommendable!

The property is sophisticated, comfortable, well maintained and includes excellent parking (for a small fee). The reception and restaurant staff were very courteous and efficient. The room itself was spacious, very clean and had a touch of class. The breakfast buffet included an impressive selection of savoury and sweet offerings. The property is located in the middle of the beautiful and vibrant Villach town centre but is very quiet and secure. This is an exceptional property.

Positive: The hotel is very well located in the center of the city. Rooms were clean. The cleaning staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Negative: The hotel is somewhat outdated. Spa on site does not match. It is a sauna, but you will have to pay expensive for it and it is extra if you are two. The breakfast host was, in my opinion, unprofessional and a little too snapped “friction” in the charge. All in all. You pay expensive for a few hotels.
