Appartements Hermine

We booked a superior apartment for 6 nights at a good price compared to others in Vienna. We arrived in the evening, but the instructions were clear on accessing the apartment, so that was good. We had Apartment Pauline, which is a large two bed apartment on the second floor, with a balcony. (there is a lift, but you do have to do a few steps) It was spacious, good size bathroom with a washing machine, kitchen with toaster, coffee machine, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, enough cooking equipment and a few dried goods in the cupboard which is always a bonus. It was really warm too and you have control over the heating and air conditioning. We didn't use the balcony as it overlooks a court yard and it wasn't quite the weather for sitting out in an evening. The location of it is great! You are right next to 'Shottering Metro Station' which means you can go anywhere. We only used it once to get to the main train station when we went to Bratislava, apart from that, we walked everywhere. You come out of the apartment and you are at the river side, which is where we spent most of our time, the sun was shining, the promenade has bars, cafe, people walking, jogging, sat in the deck chairs, it's lovely! We wandered along here every morning to go up into the old town, it takes around 10 minutes to be in the centre. There are a couple of supermarkets within a short walk, we used Billa. There is also a bus stop across the bridge (next to the BP garage) for the airport which was a great find! They run every 30 minutes and cost 11 euros each and takes 20 minutes! We would definitely stay here again, great apartment, very quiet both inside and outside the building. Great location. Easy transport connections. Loved it.

Very nice apartment. Looks even better than the photos. Sits just 20 m from the subway station shottenring. The decor is very nice. Couch and beds and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped but you would need to buy anything for cooking. We just ate out. There is no reception but directions were very clear. We punched the code and got the key. At the end of our stay, we just left the key on the dining table. There is an elevator. Internet is fast. Would stay there again.

Very close to sub-way. Easy access on odd arrival time as a self-service for key is available. Quiet neighborhood. Large apartment with very small kitchen. Supermarket 5 min away. Wifi not really functional in living room (annoying!). Cabel tv with many german speaking channels. Dispite there is an elevator a fair amount of stairs need to be passed to use it.
