Austria Trend Schloss Wilhelminenberg

As impressive and promising as it looks from the outside, it is ugly and disappointing from the inside. This impressive hotel, which boasts the nickname Schloss, was our biggest disappointment on our trip to Austria. We were given a tiny room facing the parking lot, with no view whatsoever. The room is not clean and the maintenance of the hotel's interior needs improvement. The biggest problem is in the evening, if you plan to have dinner you should know that the hotel does not have a restaurant. The reception will tell you that there are many restaurants nearby, don't believe it. There is no restaurant within a reasonable walking distance in the dark, and you have to travel by car or bus to eat. The journey is on narrow, dark and winding roads and there is a good chance that they will tell you that the kitchen is closed.

Spacious rooms, clean, quiet area, friendly and understanding staff

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are also lovely, and the view is stunning. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is great until breakfast is served. Coffee from a self-service machine like in a hospital, cheap cakes from the supermarket, the cheapest sweetened apple juice, etc. - that is not a breakfast worth 25 euros per person. The quality of the breakfast does not match the quality of the rest of the experience.
